Eugenio Bertin: Eugenio Bertin is one of the most interesting painters within the sphere of the new artistic researches about nature. He was born in Polverara (PD) in 1950. From the very beginning he showed a particular bent for drawing. Since he was very young he has devoted himself to musical studies that he left when he was fifteen. His gift for painting had become very strong but his father entered him for a geometrician school. Bertin left this one too and took his diploma at a school of agriculture as floriculture expert and gardening designer: something that was anyhow near nature. In ’73 he became a member of the Free Artistic Expression Circle and had some painting lessons from Gian Paolo Scattolin. A year later he began his artistic production. In ’75 he took part in joint art exhibitions and competitions. The critic and public’s opinion has been flattering. In ’77 he exhibited in his first personal exhibition that was followed by eighty other exhibitions and about ten joint exhibitions. From ’70 to ’83, just to study the technical aspects of nature in depth, he attended free courses at the Fine Arts Academy in Venice under the guidance of Masters Luciano Zarotti and Gianfranco Tramontin. After this experience he began desiring to know the biggest Masters of the Art. So he visited the most important Museums in the world. Many critics have written about him and his works have been bought by private collectors and are in both Italian and stranger collections.
