Salvatore Lecce: Salvatore Lecce was born in Crispiano, in the province of Taranto, in 1945. As for his training he is an autodidact .He is a figurative landscapist. Since 1976 he has taken part in artistic life, preparing art exhibitions in Italy and abroad and he has gained raves from critic and public. Salvatore Lecce has entered the artistic world for over 20 years, taking part in several joint exhibitions and personal exhibitions and earning raves from critic and collectors. The artists’ pictorial images define themselves through an original sign outline and bright colouristic pictures. They evoke the atmospheres of the warm Mediterranean lands in a complex amalgam of feelings and emotions, that the artist catches relating to reality in a vital way.
